Userpics

It seems that the userpics are working already. But they aren't showing up on the front page of this journal so I guess that's a LiveJournal issue, not mine.

Secure passwords!

Thanks to Benjamin Swanson I am now testing secure passwords in LiveWidget. Not much has changed in my code at the moment but I'll be adding support for User Pics and Tags as soon as I can and rejigging the interface to incorporate as much of the feedback I've received as possible. It should make a smaller, neater widget with more features. Good times.

Version 1.1 out now

LiveWidget 1.1 is out now (give it a few hours to appear on VersionTracker and watch my bandwidth disappear down the tube). I had somehow uploaded a version that was still showing the XML stream after posting it to the server, and now one told me! Shame on you all.

Plus there was a bug that meant you had to have some music info in there. That's fixed now thanks to some feedback by geek_girly

Unicode in the music field

I'm modifying my client (LiveWidget) to use Unicode, and have got it working for the subject and main entry text, but not for Music. Using XML-RPC Music is presented to the server in a slightly different way from most of the other data, so I was wondering if that made a difference.
this is what I am trying inside the props and struct tags.

I've swapped { for [ just to make sure this entry doesn't get interpreted

Now with Unicode support

I have added unicode support so you'll be able to post things like ©, ™, and ®.

Even wired things like ∫ ü œ åß≈ç≈Ωµ˚嬅≥≈ã are possible, if you want them to be
